Bright Onion Pie Recipe
The sunny color of this pie is due to the corn flour and turmeric in the dough! A pleasant taste, as it is saturated with spring greens, onions and, of course, a crispy cheese crust!

  1. The necessary ingredients for the cake.
  2. Mix kefir, egg, sugar, chopped parsley and dill (about 2 tablespoons left), add spices to taste.
  3. Finely chop the onion and add it to the kefir with herbs. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Add half of the cheese to the dough, and leave half for sprinkling the pie. Salt to taste, my cheese was too salty, so we put a small pinch of salt.
  4. Mix well until smooth.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix corn flour, turmeric and baking powder for the dough.
  6. We begin to connect, add the dry part of the dough to the liquid. Mix well. The dough turns out thick, not flowing. Let it brew for 10 minutes.
  7. Put the dough in a greased form with vegetable oil, smooth it out and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese. Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes. Take it out, let it cool down.
  8. You can serve this pie as an independent dish, or as an addition to the soup!
