Hummus with Broccoli Recipe
Hummus is an ancient oriental cold snack made from chickpeas and sesame paste, spices and olive oil. Chickpeas are a rich source of vegetable protein, as well as various minerals, vitamins and fiber. I suggest you prepare a version of this snack with broccoli, which will not only give hummus color, but also enrich it with many useful substances.   1. Soak the chickpeas overnight. Drain the water in which the chickpeas were soaked and add a new one, so that the chickpeas cover 5 cm. Cook for 1-1. 5 hours. Do not drain the remaining water. Cool the chickpeas.
  2. Slice the broccoli and cook for 10 minutes. Cool.
  3. Put the chickpeas (leave some for decoration), broccoli, tahini, oil, lemon juice, salt and spices in the bowl of the combine and whisk, gradually adding the cooled broth to get the desired consistency (it took me about 100 ml).
  4. The food processor did a great job of cooking hummus.
  5. Before serving, I cooked a baguette on the grill.

  7. If you add more chickpea broth, then hummus can be used, for example, as a sauce for pasta.
