My Favorite Carrot Cake Recipe
Dear cooks, I offer you an excellent pie, which is very popular in my family. Despite its large size, it never stays for long, disappears right before your eyes. The ingredients are measured in glasses, I have a glass with a volume of 200 ml. The volume of the glass, in principle, is not important, the main thing is to observe the proportions.

  1. The size of the form is 25 x 35 cm. The number of nuts, seeds and raisins combined is 1 cup. Rinse the raisins and pour boiling water for a few minutes, then discard on a sieve. Chop the nuts (walnuts or peanuts) coarsely with a knife, add the seeds. Then mix it all together.
  2. Sift the flour with baking powder, add whole grain flour and salt.
  3. Add the cinnamon and stir. Using whole grain flour – if desired, you can bake a pie only from wheat flour – 2.5 cups.
  4. Peel the carrots and grate them on a medium grater. I use a kitchen robot for this job.
  5. Beat eggs with sugar, gradually adding odorless sunflower oil. Add the flour mixture and stir.
  6. Add milk, carrots and a mixture of seeds, nuts and raisins and mix.
  7. Cover the mold with baking paper and pour out the dough. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 * for about 35-40 minutes. Ready to check with a match.
  8. Cool the finished cake and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Or you can sprinkle the cake with brown sugar 10 minutes before the end of baking and fry until cooked.
  9. The pie turns out to be very tasty, fragrant, with a fine structure. Enjoy your meal!
