Mix orange juice, cinnamon, cloves and dried fruits. Bring to a boil. Cool, cover with a film (so that it adheres to the fruit) and leave to infuse for 10-12 hours.
Whisk the butter and sugar.
Continuing to beat, add the eggs. Then slowly add flour and baking powder to the whipped mass.
Remove the slices from the dried fruits and combine them with the dough.
Bake at 150 degrees for about 80 minutes. We check the readiness with a skewer.
The cooled cake is decorated and served on the table.
