  1. Pumpkin (I have a Butternut variety) cut into small cubes, pour water and put to boil.
  2. When the water boils, add the chopped carrots. Salt. Cook on low heat for 15 minutes. At the end, add the nutmeg (at the tip of the knife).
  3. While the vegetables are cooking, cook the shrimp in your favorite way. You can fry a little in butter with garlic. This time I poured boiling water over it, squeezed out garlic and added bay leaf. Important. Since the shrimp will be inside the soup, they need to be completely cleaned, remove the tails and the black stripe on the ridge.
  4. Drain the water in which the vegetables were cooked, set aside. With an immersion blender, chop the pumpkin and carrots well into puree, pour in the cream. Adjust the required thickness of the broth, adding to taste.
  5. Put a little shrimp in each plate (3-6 per serving).
  6. Pour hot soup, season with pepper.
  7. Pour a little more cream (or thick sour cream) into the middle of the plate, garnish with a drop of caviar. Serve the soup with white bread. Cream and salt can also be served additionally to diversify the taste.
