Salad “Simple” Recipe
A long time ago I found this recipe on the Internet and now, finally, it’s on our holiday table! To be honest, I have made my own changes and additions. Now, by the decision of the family council, this salad falls into the category – favorite and festive!

  1. Boil the carrots, potatoes and beets and peel them. Cool completely. Cut into small pieces. Add the onion. First I cut the beets and add 1 tablespoon of oil and a little lemon juice, mix and leave for 10 minutes. This will not color the rest of the ingredients so intensely.
  2. Add the sliced boiled tongue and peas.
  3. Dressing: Dissolve salt and sugar in water, add butter and whisk everything with a fork.
  4. Pour the dressing over the salad, pepper to taste with black pepper and mix well. Put the salad to marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  5. Add the sliced cucumbers to the salad and mix.
  6. I liked the salad in this form, so I put half of the salad in another salad bowl and added a couple of tablespoons of oil.
  7. Fill the second half with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise. Both options are just a fairy tale.
