A very tasty and fragrant shawarma with chicken at home is a great option for a hearty snack.   1. Finely chop the chicken fillet (if cut into too large pieces), put it in a deep bowl.
  2. Add spices, salt and soy sauce, mix thoroughly.
  3. And leave to marinate for about 30 minutes.
  4. Pour 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil into the pan.
  5. And fry the chicken on high heat on both sides until golden brown (so the chicken turns out very juicy inside).
  6. Then cool slightly and cut into small pieces;
  7. Chop the cabbage into thin strips, put it in a deep bowl.
  8. Add a little salt and mash;
  9. Cut cucumbers into strips.
  10. Cut tomatoes into small pieces;
  11. For the sauce, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, crushed garlic and spices;
  12. Spread the pita bread in the center with the prepared sauce.
  13. Lay out the cabbage, chicken, cucumbers and tomatoes in layers. Pour some more sauce on top;
  14. Tightly roll the pita bread with the filling in the form of an envelope;
  15. If desired, fry the shawarma in a hot dry frying pan (preferably in a grill pan).
  16. On each side for 1-2 minutes on medium heat.
