  1. Power: 1000W Main program: Stewing (25 minutes) Additional program: Frying (6 minutes). Food preparation products:
  2. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package (for meatballs, the rice can not be boiled a little), let the rice cool down. The recipe uses basmati rice with the addition of quinoa groats. For one part of rice, you will need two parts of water, cook under a lid, then simmer for 15 minutes on low heat.
  3. Broccoli (without defrosting) pour boiling water for 10 minutes, then drain the water, “squeeze” the broccoli, finely chop with a knife. Cut the onion into small cubes. Mix chicken, rice, onion and broccoli. Add egg, salt and pepper to taste.
  4. From the resulting minced meat, form meatballs (slightly larger than a chicken egg – 9 pcs.). Meatballs can be cooked in different ways: in a slow cooker, baked in the oven, put out in a saucepan with a thick bottom on the hob. In this recipe – cooking in a slow cooker. Pour 3-4 tablespoons of vegetable oil into the bowl of the slow cooker, switch the “frying” mode. Roll the prepared meatballs in flour, put them in preheated oil, fry the meatballs for 3 minutes on both sides, until a “strong” crust forms, put them on a plate. Pour tablespoons of oil into the bowl of the slow cooker, add the remaining flour for meatballs (~ 1 tablespoon), mix quickly (spasser the flour), pour cream + mineral water, salt (1/3 tsp), pepper, mix well with a whisk (silicone) or a wooden spoon. Put the fried meatballs in the sauce. Switch the slow cooker mode to “fire”, the cooking time is 25 minutes. When ready, do not open the lid of the slow cooker for another 10 minutes.
  5. The finished meatballs absorbed half of the sauce, turned out very juicy and very tender. Serve the meatballs hot with fresh vegetables.
  6. Bon appetit!
