Chocolate-Nut Lenten Cake Recipe
I present to your attention a chocolate-nut cake, not intended for the New Year’s table. This is a mega chocolate dessert framed with almonds, cashews, peanuts, walnuts, prunes, dried apricots and oranges. Very fragrant, delicious and healthy.

Instructions
  1. Prepare the base for the cake. Put the almonds and walnuts in the bowl of a food processor with a “Chopping Knife” attachment.
  2. Grind for 15-20 seconds, add prunes and dried apricots.
  3. Grind for another 15-20 seconds until smooth. Add the orange zest and stir.
  4. Cover the cake pan (I have a diameter of 16.5 cm) with baking paper, lay out the nut mass with dried fruits, spread on the bottom, make the sides. Put it in the freezer for 20-30 minutes.
  5. For the filling, put the cashews and peanuts in the bowl of the combine.
  6. Chop for 15-20 seconds, add coarsely chopped bananas.
  7. Grind until smooth for another 15-20 seconds.
  8. Preheat the orange juice with agar-agar, bring to a boil, cook for 3 minutes (or according to the instructions). Melt the chocolate in a water bath (or in the microwave), add the juice with agar-agar and nut-banana mass. Mix well.
  9. Put the filling into the mold. Sprinkle with almond petals. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  10. Transfer the pie to a festive dish and serve it to the table.
  11. Bon appetit.
