Crispy Apple Pie on a Stick Recipe
I propose to serve everyone’s favorite short apple pie in a new way: on sticks. Crispy dough and fragrant filling with viscous caramel – delicious!. As usual, my baking is aimed at children: to make it interesting, convenient and delicious to eat. In addition, shortbread dough is not very convenient to cut: it crumbles badly. This dish completely solves this problem. Beautiful and original!

Instructions
  1. Grate the butter on a grater.
  2. Add flour.
  3. Mash your hands into crumbs.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients for the dough.
  5. Quickly knead the dough, roll it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Cut the apple into small cubes.
  7. Add sugar, cinnamon, vanilla sugar and starch.
  8. Mix it.
  9. Roll out half of the dough, roll out the other half and cut into strips.
  10. Weave the strips in a checkerboard pattern and roll them out again with a rolling pin so that the strips connect with each other.
  11. Cut out circles with a diameter of 7-8 cm from two types of dough . Put some apples and a piece of candy on a circle of ordinary dough.
  12. Attach short skewers.
  13. Cover with a circle of dough made of strips and pinch the edges with a fork.
  14. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
