A hearty, cozy, homemade dish. Just for the cool autumn days. This roast is just a song, a fairy tale and a poem. I was sure it would be delicious, but this roast exceeded my expectations. I would always eat it.
Salted cucumbers add piquancy and taste to the new fried meat. They go well with potatoes and ribs.
Cut the cucumbers slightly obliquely into thin slices.
For cooking, it is better to use a cast-iron baking dish, a brazier or just a heavy deep frying pan. I cooked in a cast-iron frying pan. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the ribs on both sides.
Add chopped onions, carrots and pickles. Cook for about 3-5 minutes.
Then add the peeled potatoes. If it’s really shallow. If large, then cut it into 4 parts. Add salt, pepper, bay leaf, pour in water.
Cover the saucepan with a lid and put it in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees. Cook for about 1-1.5 hours.
Finely chop the garlic and green onion.
Remove the finished roast from the oven, add the green onion and garlic and mix. You can sue.
