Peel the onion and chop it as small as possible.
I do not recommend using a blender or a meat grinder.
Put the onion in a saucepan, pour boiling water, cover and leave for 15 minutes.
In a bowl, break the eggs, add salt, sugar, Italian herbs, chopped green onions and flour.
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, add to a bowl, mix.
Onions are thrown on a sieve, shaken several times, getting rid of water, put in a bowl, sprinkle with black pepper and knead well.
Grease a frying pan with a diameter of 20 cm with vegetable oil, put it on medium heat and warm it up a little.
Lay out the onion dough, smooth it with a spoon.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid and fry the pie for 10 minutes.
Now the pie needs to be turned to the other side. You can do it with a wide spatula, but I don’t want to take any chances, just transfer the pie to another pan, slightly larger in diameter, and fry for another 10 minutes.
Transfer our pie to a plate and cool it down a little.
