Instructions
  1. All products must be at room temperature. Rub butter at room temperature with sugar and vanilla sugar. I rubbed it with a spoon.
  2. In a creamy sugar mass, beat three eggs at room temperature and mix with a mixer until smooth. It is mixed, not shaken.
  3. Grate the zest from the orange on a fine grater. Squeeze the juice from the orange itself. In the butter-egg mass, pour the chopped almonds (not in small pieces, do not turn into flour), zest, candied fruits and pour in the juice. Mix everything well. Then mix the flour with baking powder and sift into the egg-butter mass, to which nuts and candied fruits have already been added. Mix well.
  4. Put the dough into a mold (I had a 20 x 9 cm mold and three muffin molds, but the recipe indicated that it was for a round shape with a diameter of 20 cm and with a hole in the middle).
  5. Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven until dry with a toothpick. Focus on your oven.
  6. Cool the cake, decorate with powdered sugar or icing on lemon juice with powdered sugar, if desired.
  7. Slice and treat yourself with pleasure))) It turns out a great crust!
