  1. Grate the cheese on a fine grater (you can also grate it on a large one).
  2. Add a pinch of salt to the egg whites and beat with a mixer until a stable foam forms.
  3. Mix egg whites with cheese, sift 3 tablespoons of flour and mix thoroughly. If the dough does not hold its shape, add a little more flour.
  4. On a table or a board, sift the flour for breading, dip your hands in water, form balls in the shape of a walnut, dip the balls in flour.
  5. Preheat the vegetable oil. Gently lower the balls with a slotted spoon so that they do not touch the bottom, they need to be stirred continuously.
  6. Fry in small portions until golden brown (remove and place on a napkin to remove excess vegetable oil).
  7. Prepare cranberry sauce. Pour the berries and sugar into a saucepan, heat it up so that the cranberries give juice.
  8. In 50 ml of water, dissolve 1 teaspoon of starch.
  9. When the sauce boils, add starch to the water, stirring constantly so that there are no lumps.
  10. As soon as the sauce thickens, remove from the heat and whisk into a puree using a blender. Serve the cheese balls with cranberry sauce!
