  1. Put honey, butter, and sugar in a small saucepan. And put it on the stove to warm up, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves. After a few minutes, the mass will lighten and begin to foam. Remove the mass from the heat and allow to cool to room temperature. Add one egg to the cooled mass. And whisk.
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, cocoa powder, spices, baking powder.
  3. Add the dry mixture to the egg-butter mixture and knead the dough. Flour may take a little more or a little less.
  4. We wrap the finished gingerbread dough in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour. The dough turns out to be very soft, does not stick to your hands.
  5. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll out into a layer from 5 mm to -1 cm thick. If the dough is rolled out too thin, the gingerbread will turn out solid. Cut out the gingerbread. The shape of gingerbread can be any.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, cover the baking sheet with parchment paper, brush with vegetable oil and bake for about 7-10 minutes.
  7. Take out the baking sheet and let the gingerbread cool down a little. Remove the gingerbread from the parchment and decorate as desired.
