First you need to prepare the dough for Christmas trees. To do this, in the bowl of a food processor, I beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy. Then gradually added vegetable oil, orange juice and flour mixed with baking powder and stirred everything again in a food processor.
In the finished dough added a couple of drops of green dye and poured the resulting dough on a baking sheet, covered with parchment. It is important to evenly distribute the dough so that it is approximately the same thickness. Bake the biscuit at 180 degrees, in the oven, about 7-10 minutes. it is Important that the top of the biscuit does not become brown.
Let the finished biscuit cool and cut out the Christmas trees, using a cookie cutter.
Prepare the main dough. I needed hazelnuts for it. I first dried the nuts in a frying pan, cooled them and crushed them in a food processor into a large crumb.
Soft butter and sugar beat until fluffy. Add the eggs and beat again. Enter the zest and orange juice, add the hazelnuts and mix well.
Gradually add all the flour mixed with baking powder.
Form for the cake grease with a thin layer of butter and put on the bottom of a little basic dough. Then place the Christmas trees on top, laying them in a row tightly to each other.
Pour over the remaining dough. Bake the cake at 180 degrees for about 45-50 minutes Readiness check with a wooden skewer. Allow the finished cake to cool slightly, then carefully remove it and put it on the grill. Leave to cool completely
Sprinkle the cooled cake with powdered sugar and decorate as desired. Enjoy your tea!
