Instructions
  1. Put cottage cheese, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, vegetable oil in a bowl.
  2. Mix thoroughly. You can whisk with a whisk, you can just use a spoon.
  3. Add flour and baking powder, knead a soft dough, roll it into a ball, cover and set aside to prepare the filling.
  4. Products for filling. The filling can be prepared in advance, then you do not have to wait for it to cool down. Raspberry jam can not be used, but it greatly enriches the taste and aroma of products.
  5. Peel the apples and cut them into small cubes. In a frying pan, spread the butter and pour out the sugar, put on fire, heat until the butter melts, add the cubes of apples and, stirring, simmer for 10 minutes. Apples should become soft, but retain their shape. Remove from the heat, transfer to a bowl and leave to cool. Turn on the oven so that it warms up to 180 degrees.
  6. Divide the dough into 4 relatively equal parts, roll a bun from each part.
  7. Roll out the bun into a thin tortilla (20-22 cm in diameter) Cut into 4 parts, make incisions in each part.
  8. Lay out the apple filling and pour half a teaspoon of raspberry jam on top.
  9. “Swaddle” the filling, covering first with one edge, and then on top of the other. Squeeze out the dough with your finger in the wide part. We do this procedure with the rest of the koloboks.
  10. Put the pigtails on a baking sheet, put them in a preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until they are slightly browned. The dough is rolled out thinly, baked quickly, it is important not to over-dry it! The baking sheet can be covered with parchment, so that later it, the baking sheet, is not washed, but it can be baked directly on the baking sheet, it is not necessary to lubricate with oil. Transfer the pigtails from the pan to a dish, cool slightly.
  11. Sprinkle warm plaits with powdered sugar and invite everyone to drink tea!
