Catfish Steak with Vegetables Recipe
Autumn spoils us with an abundance of juicy vegetables. I suggest you cook a catfish steak with caramelized onions and a side dish of vegetables. The most important thing is not to overcook the vegetables, they should turn out “al dente”.

Instructions
  1. First prepare the catfish. Clean the fish, gut and cut into portions. I left the head and tail in the broth.
  2. Divide the cauliflower and broccoli into inflorescences.
  3. Peel the carrots, onions and garlic.
  4. Cut the carrots into cubes.
  5. Onion – half rings, the thinner, the better.
  6. Finely chop the garlic.
  7. Brush the fish with oil and fry in a grill pan for 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  8. Season the steaks with salt and pepper, Italian herbs and one clove of garlic (the rest of the garlic will be needed for vegetables). Place in a preheated 200 degree oven for 20 minutes.
  9. Pour cauliflower and broccoli with cold water and put on high heat. As soon as the water boils, discard the cabbage in a colander and lower it into cold water. Drain the water and dry the inflorescences with a paper towel.
  10. Pour vegetable oil into a preheated frying pan and fry the garlic.
  11. Add the cauliflower, add salt and fry until tender for 3-4 minutes. Put it out.
  12. Fry the remaining vegetables in the same pan. Put the carrots in a frying pan, season with salt and pepper, add the juice of half an orange with the pulp, a stick of cinnamon, star anise, honey and season with ground ginger. Cook over medium heat, stirring all the time, for about 12 minutes. Put it out.
  13. Make the fire stronger and fry the red onion. As soon as the onion starts to juice, add salt, mustard and brown sugar, fry until the onion thickens.
  14. Serve the catfish with caramelized onions and vegetables. Enjoy your meal!!!
