Pie Filler “Spring” from the Slow Cooker Recipe

  1. Brush the bowl of the slow cooker with a piece of cold butter, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and shake off the excess.
  2. Chop the young cabbage, pour boiling water over it and immediately drain the water, rinse with ice water, squeeze. Pour the melted warm butter into the cabbage, add salt to taste and mix everything.
  3. Beat eggs lightly with a whisk, add sour cream, salt, spices to taste, mix until smooth, sift flour with baking powder, combine everything, mix until smooth.
  4. Mix the cabbage and the filling for the pie, mix, put in the bowl of a slow cooker. If desired, you can add sliced ham, sausages or boiled meat, chopped herbs to taste to the pie. When using cabbage of winter varieties, it must be pre-extinguished until half-cooked.
  5. Set the “baking” mode, after the sound signal about the end of the program, take out the pie using the steaming pan (turn the bowl so that the pie is on the baking sheet). Then transfer the top of the pie to the bottom and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
  6. Cool the finished cake slightly on the grill, it is delicious both hot and cold.
