Instructions
  1. Peel the shrimp from the shell and heads, peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Peel the Bulgarian pepper from the seeds and cut it in the same way as the onion.
  2. Grate the ginger on a fine grater. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon. Cut the tomato in half and grate on a coarse grater. Finely chop the hot pepper in an amount of 1 tsp. Do not spare the hot pepper and ginger, they are appropriate in this dish.
  3. In the preheated oil, fry the onion and pepper for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add tomatoes, black pepper and salt. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in coconut milk, lemon juice, add ginger and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. The sauce should be spicy, slightly salty, with sourness. Lay out the shrimp, sprinkle with herbs and warm up. If your shrimp is not cooked, add them to the sauce, cook for 3-4 minutes. Serve the dish, garnished with lettuce leaves. They have shrimp sauce on them. Coconut milk and ginger gave a delicious combination to the sauce and shrimp.
  7. Add strawberries as a side dish and garnish with mint greens.
