Apple Strudel Recipe
Very tasty!! It is very easy and interesting to prepare. Perfect for dinner with tea or coffee. Be sure to try this delicate strudel.

  1. Remove the dough from the freezer in advance. Wash the apples and peel them.
  2. Remove the core, cut into pieces.
  3. Melt butter in a frying pan, add sugar and apples. Fry until golden brown, stirring frequently so as not to burn.
  4. Add the cinnamon and mix again.
  5. Simmer for another 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
  6. Cut the cookies into not very small pieces. Prepare the nuts. Mash the kernels into halves or quarters.
  7. Mix the cooled apple mixture with nuts and cookies.
  8. Roll out a sheet of dough 2-3 mm thick. Divide into 4 parts.
  9. Separate the yolks from the whites. We will only need the yolk to lubricate the dough. Put some filling in the center. Brush the edges of the dough with yolk, so it will stick to the dough better.
  10. Close the strudel with an envelope, as in my photo.. Grease the top with yolk. To get an additional pair, make a couple of cuts diagonally. Place the finished products on a lightly oiled baking sheet or cover with baking paper. Bake in a preheated 180 * C oven for 15-20 minutes, the baking time depends on your oven.
  11. Decorate the finished strudel with powdered sugar.
