  1. It is prepared very simply. I showed two fillings with different cheeses. In one, I added carrots and herbs to the cheese. In the other, put the sausage cheese and pepper. Prepare the necessary products. I have sausages, I think any sausage, ham or boiled meat will do. Pepper, preferably red. Greens – according to your taste. I had a package of cakes made of four sheets.
  2. Pour milk + eggs into a small bowl. Close the lid tightly,
  3. shake vigorously for 5-7 seconds. Lubricate the cakes with the finished mixture.
  4. Grind the pepper in a blender. I have a ready-made frozen pepper puree. If you have a similar billet, take two tablespoons.
  5. For the first filling, grate the hard cheese on a fine grater. Carrots – on a large scale. Chop the greens in a blender or finely chop them. The photo in the bowl shows that there is also cheese. I have some cottage cheese left, I used it. This is not necessary because it is not in the ingredients. Mix it all together.
  6. Prepare the second filling. Grate the mozzarella and sausage “coarsely”. Add the prepared pepper. Mix it all together.
  7. Here are both fillings. If you don’t have enough salt in the cheese and sausage, you can add salt and pepper. I didn’t add spices, because the greens and peppers are very fragrant. Just add a little garlic to the carrots. On request.
  8. This is how the cakes that we have on sale look like. Perhaps they are square in your stores. This will be reflected only on the forum of ready-made sandwiches.
  9. A cutting board covered with parchment. There’s a cake on it. So it is more convenient to transfer it to the frying pan. Lubricate the entire surface of the cake with egg-milk mixture.
  10. Lay out one of the fillings. Smooth over the entire surface. Lubricate the second cake with egg mixture, cover with filling.
  11. Lightly tamp it with a plank.
  12. If the diameter of your mold matches the size of the cakes, skip this step. I had to adapt. Using the lid and a thin knife, draw a circle, slightly incising the cake. Then cut to the bottom along the entire circumference.
  13. Now that the cakes are ready, cover them with a frying pan. Using a soft board, tip the workpiece to the bottom of the mold. Fry on low heat, in a dry frying pan. When the bottom is browned, using the same board or a flat lid, turn over and fry the second side.
  14. Do the same with the other two waffle cakes and the second filling. When you remove the finished workpiece from the mold, lightly sprinkle with grated Parmesan. Use a thin cutting board to divide a large sandwich into slices. Very convenient. Or cut it with a knife.
  15. That’s it, delicious sandwiches can be served on the table. Or pack it in a lunch box and take it with you on the road.
