  1. As you can see, there are few ingredients. Start by steaming the vegetables (or in water) for 5 minutes.
  2. Now let’s move on to the filling. Remove the zest from one orange.
  3. True Italians certainly stir the dressing in a jar with a lid or any other tightly closed vessel. Let’s follow their example. Put the zest in a small jar. Squeeze the juice from an orange with an intact peel. Also pour into a jar.
  4. Then add olive oil to the filling, about three times less than the juice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Now cover the jar and shake it vigorously several times, you will get a delicate orange-butter sauce. All Italian websites write that such an effect can be achieved only by mixing the filling ingredients in a tightly closed vessel.
  5. Now, actually, about the salad itself. Peel the orange that has been left without a peel with a knife and cut into thin slices.
  6. We put oranges on a plate, then two types of cabbage. There are two more ingredients in the salad, which, considering that this is a light dinner, I did not add – these are chili and capers. If desired, repeat the preparation of the salad exactly: chili, finely chopped, add to the dressing before shaking; sprinkle the finished salad with capers. So, the final stage: generously pour the dressing over everything. I also salted some vegetables on top. Very, very tasty dressing, perfect for salads!
