Instructions
  1. First of all, grate 2 onions on a coarse grater, squeeze them through a sieve, remove the onion juice.
  2. Pour spices into 100 ml of mineral water: ground paprika, ground pepper, oregano, cumin and salt.
  3. Now chop the hot pepper, garlic, fresh parsley and fresh mint very finely.
  4. It’s time to do the stuffing. Mix ground beef and beef fat. Add the squeezed onion, chopped breadcrumbs and egg. Now knead the minced meat, just as the dough is kneaded. After 3 minutes of stirring, we gradually introduce minced meat with spices into the mineral mixture. And at the very end, add chopped pepper, garlic, parsley and mint.
  5. Moisten your hands in cold water and start making blanks. We pinch off small pieces of minced meat and form a kind of flat cutlets, only three times smaller.
  6. Preheat the pan. It is better that it be a grill pan. And without greasing it with anything, we send it to our blanks. Fry on each side for about three minutes until they are browned.
  7. Kefte is very good to serve with vegetables. It’s fine if it’s grilled vegetables. They can be fried in the same grill pan on which we fried the main dish. Bon appetit to everyone!
