Cabbage with Chicken and Apple Recipe
A hearty, tasty, appetizing and hot dish will decorate your festive table. The dish consists of stewed cabbage, sweet and sour apples and chicken meatballs. And all this is stewed in a spicy sour cream and tomato sauce.

  1. Prepare the filling. Peeled potatoes – 1 pc. and onions – 1 pc., cut into large slices. Mix the chicken pulp with potatoes, onions and 1 clove of crushed garlic.. Add dry chicken seasoning (1 tsp), salt and pepper.
  2. Grind the mixed products in a meat grinder or blender. I shredded it in a food processor.
  3. Add 1 small protein and 1-2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs to the minced chicken. Minced meat should be dense.
  4. Form balls of minced meat. I got 12 pieces, roll them in breadcrumbs.
  5. Chop the cabbage and grate 1 apple on a coarse grater. I was chopping cabbage in a food processor. Rub the cabbage mixed with a pinch of salt with your hands until the juice forms.
  6. Grease the mold with vegetable oil (1 tbsp.l.) and put the cabbage with grated apple. Add the dry seasoning (1 tsp.) and mix.
  7. Lay out the chicken balls.
  8. Prepare the filling. Mix 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil with sour cream (2 tablespoons) and tomato ketchup (2 tablespoons). Add seasoning and whisk with a fork. Then add the broth, season with salt or pepper and mix.
  9. Spread the sauce evenly over the surface and lay out the apple slices and cherry tomatoes. Cover the dish with foil (not tightly).
  10. We send the dish to a preheated 180 C oven until fully cooked. After 30 minutes, I open the foil and taste the cabbage. If it is ready, then the dish as a whole is ready. Remove the foil and let the dish brown a little.
