  1. Fresh spinach leaves are boiled until half-cooked.
  2. Fry the finely chopped onion in butter.
  3. Mix the onion with spinach and cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. In a deep bowl, sift flour, add egg, vegetable oil and softened butter.
  5. Knead the dough, gradually pouring warm salted water into it. You should get a dense homogeneous mass.
  6. Roll out a layer of dough about 2 mm thick. We outline the center of the formation with a knife and spread the cooked spinach-onion minced meat on one of the halves in small slides.
  7. Cover with the second half of the dough, slightly pressing the “recesses” between the filling.
  8. Cut into pads. It is not necessary that they be smooth, the dish does not require it. Do not throw away the dough scraps, they will also go.
  9. Boil the dough pads in boiling salted water for 5-10 minutes together with the dough scraps.
  10. Meanwhile, fry the chopped garlic cloves in butter.
  11. In a baking dish, put ready-made pads with minced meat in one layer. Add the fried garlic on top.
  12. Sprinkle with grated cheese. And so we repeat in several layers, ending with cheese. If the cheese is not salty and spicy enough, you can add salt and pepper to taste.
  13. Put in the oven at 180 degrees and bake until golden brown. It will take about 20 minutes.
