Pie “Red Flower” Recipe

  1. In a deep bowl, pour warm water, add sugar, yeast and mix well.
  2. Pour in warm milk and vegetable oil. Add the egg white and salt.
  3. Gradually add the flour and knead the dough. Cover with a towel or cling film and put in a warm place for 1 hour.
  4. During this time, cut the tomatoes into cubes. Mix tomatoes, tomato paste, cottage cheese, vegetable oil, paprika, ground coriander in a deep bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir.
  5. The dough should increase in two.
  6. Cut off a large piece of parchment paper to cover the entire baking sheet. Sprinkle the surface with flour and knead our dough for 10 minutes.
  7. Divide the dough in half. And leave a small ball of dough for decoration.
  8. Roll out one half of the dough in a circle. Put the filling on the edges.
  9. Roll out the second part of the dough in a circle of the same size and cover the pie. Pinch the edges well. Press down a little in the center with your hands.
  10. Cut four times in the middle of our pie to make triangles.
  11. The small ball of dough that we left, roll out and place in the center of the pie.
  12. Each cut triangle is pinched in the middle. You should get a “flower”. Grease the entire pie with yolk. Sprinkle the middle and edge of the cake with sesame seeds.
  13. Cherry tomatoes cut in half and spread on each “flower petal”. Finely chop the green onions and decorate the pie.
  14. Grate the cheese on a large grater and sprinkle on top of the green onions.
  15. Carefully transfer the pie along with parchment paper to a baking tray.
  16. Put in a preheated oven to 180° for 25 minutes until Golden brown. Focus on your oven.
