Snacks “Crazy Bread” Recipe
I want to share with you a recipe for an original festive snack made of rye bread. The cost of the products is low, and the dish is easy to prepare. But the result will definitely please you! Two crispy loaves, with an insanely delicious filling between them, and all this in a delicate delicious batter!

  1. Boil chicken breast fillet in salted water, cool and cut into small pieces.
  2. Finely chop the gherkins. I took pickled gherkins from a delicatessen. They are great for the recipe – they give a special original taste and a slight sourness.
  3. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, chop the green onions. Add the gherkins and squeezed garlic.
  4. Add chicken breast, egg and a little pepper. I do not recommend salting, as the gherkins, cheese and breast in the filling are quite salty. And then look for yourself according to your taste.
  5. Add 2 tsp sour cream to the filling and mix well.
  6. Cut the bread in half. Out of 12 pieces, you should get 24 pieces. I have loaves measuring 12* 6 cm, so I got squares measuring 6 * 6 cm.
  7. Put the filling on each square of bread.
  8. Cover with the second square.
  9. You should get 12 “cakes”. They already look so appetizing that you want to try them! While you are putting the loaves aside, we will prepare the dough.
  10. In a deep bowl, whisk eggs, milk, sour cream, flour, a pinch of salt and pepper.
  11. Dip the bread into the dough and fry in a small amount of vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown.
  12. A bright, fragrant, appetizing and insanely appetizing snack is ready!
  13. You can serve it on a festive table! Be sure to cook this dish – the guests will be delighted!
  14. You will see what the middle turns out to be – juicy, tender, interspersed with crispy gherkins! Enjoy your meal.
