Crumbly shortbread galette dough with juicy apple-plum filling, very tasty and nutritious. Apples and plums did not boil and did not turn into mush. A wonderful, gentle, plastic dough, which is very pleasant to work with. Apples for biscuits from cottage cheese dough are preferably taken semi-hard sweet and sour varieties. I found the idea of the recipe on the Internet, I changed it a little so that your products fit.

  1. Cottage cheese, cream cheese mix. If the cheese is large, it must first be wiped through a sieve. Add salt, sugar, vanilla sugar, and beat. Break the egg, beat it again. The dough turns out to be moderately sweet, for a sweet tooth, you can increase the amount of sugar.
  2. In a bowl for kneading dough, sift wheat and corn flour for baking. Add the curd-egg mixture and pieces of cold butter and chop. I knead it with a dough cutter. If you need to pour ice water, I didn’t add it. Quickly knead the soft dough.
  3. Form a ball of dough, lightly sprinkle with flour, wrap in plastic wrap. Put it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Wash the plum, cut it into two halves, remove the bone and make incisions on the skin so that it does not break when baking.
  5. Wash the apples, remove the core and cut into slices, sprinkle with lemon juice so that they do not darken.
  6. Divide the dough into four parts.
  7. Roll out one piece about 4 mm thick. I rolled out the dough between the layers of food film, sprinkled them with flour. Put the rest in the refrigerator. Pour starch and sugar into the center. Put the apples cut into round thin slices, not reaching the edges 4-5 cm. Put the plums in the center. Add cranberries. Sprinkle with sugar and almond petals. Wrap the edges of the dough to the center so that the middle is open, pinch the dough and press. Put it on a baking sheet covered with baking paper (I held it with a scraper and on a food film). You can prepare a biscuit immediately on baking paper, so as not to suffer when shifting.
  8. Bake the galette in a preheated 180C oven for about 35-45 minutes until a beautiful golden crust forms.
  9. Sprinkle powdered sugar over another hot one. Enjoy your tea!!!
