The apple season has finally arrived. And so I want to cook something new, but not apple pie. Here’s a recipe I found in a German magazine. I like it. I decided to share it with you. You won’t regret it!
So, we take butter, preferably cold, mix with powdered sugar and flour. Grind into crumbs, then add the egg, water and knead the dough.
If necessary, add more flour.
Put the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
In the meantime, let’s do the stuffing.
Peel the apples.
Put it on a plate.
Mix 400 ml of juice with sugar.
Add lemon zest.
We spread it out the same way as our apples.
Put on the fire and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Until the apples are soft.
Mix the remaining 100 ml of juice with a pack of pudding and starch.
By the way, if you don’t have pudding, replace it with starch.
About 3 tablespoons and cook like a pudding.
Pour our mixture over the apples and cook again for 1-2 minutes until thickened. Remove from the heat.
We take out our dough.
Roll it out on paper through the film.
Take a 24 cm form. Along with her paper.
We spread our dough. Take care of the bumpers.
Prick the bottom with a fork.
Cover the top with more paper and pour out the beans.
Put in the oven for 20 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
Lay out the beans for loading so that the dough does not rise.
Then it is taken out immediately after baking.
After 20 minutes, we take out our mold and pour out the filling.
Sprinkle almond petals on top.
Put in the oven for 40 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees.
Pour the warmed apricot jam 15 minutes before the end.
The delicious pie is ready.
Let it cool in the mold. And served with a cup of tea!
