  1. Heat the oil in a thick-walled saucepan over medium heat and pour in our spices – sesame seeds, cloves, black pepper, cinnamon stick and coconut chips.
  2. Fry, stirring, until the coconut shavings turn golden.
  3. Now pour in the rice and fry it for a few minutes until the rice grains become slightly transparent.
  4. Add hot water and the rest of the ingredients, increase the heat and bring to a boil. The water can be pre-boiled in a kettle.
  5. Reduce the heat to a minimum, cover with a tightly closing lid and simmer over low heat, without stirring, for 20-25 minutes, until the rice becomes airy, the vegetables are soft, and all the liquid is absorbed. Turn off the heat and leave the rice under the lid for 5 minutes so that the tender grains gain strength.
  6. Now you can open the lid and enjoy the stunning beauty and wonderful aroma! Tell me, isn’t it wonderful? Mix everything carefully and put it in a bowl with a wooden spoon or fork so as not to damage the rice.
