Peel the red onion and cut it into thin half rings. Soak in cold water with 1 teaspoon of salt for at least 20 minutes. Flip it into a colander, let the water drain.
Cut the pomegranate in half. More than half of the grain extract. Squeeze the juice from the second half.
Mix the onion with the beans and pomegranate juice, add salt and sumac, mix.
