Pour balsamic vinegar into a saucepan. Add sugar, cloves, star anise, allspice.
Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally, until all the sugar has dissolved.
Be sure to open the window or turn on the hood, because when heated, there will be a strong smell of vinegar in the kitchen.
The mixture has boiled, turn down the heat and cook for about 40 minutes. The sauce should be boiled 2-2. 5 times.
The sauce will cover the spoon with a thin film.
From the finished sauce, we pull out the spices with a slotted spoon.
We also pour the hot sauce into a bottle. Because when it cools down, it will become even thicker.
If you get too sticky sauce, it means that you overcooked it. Just add a little balsamic vinegar to it.
