Hibiscus Tea Recipe

A few days ago I came from Egypt and brought a recipe for the correct brewing of hibiscus tea. This tea not only quenches thirst on a hot day, but also has very useful properties, which I will tell you about in the recipe, come and learn a lot of interesting things.
Servings 4
Cook Time 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 15 pieces Hibiscus roses of tea, I weighed them, about 10 grams
  • 1 liter Water
  • Sugar to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the tea flowers in cold water for at least two hours, preferably overnight.
  2. Bring the tea to a boil and simmer for five minutes over low heat. Remove the saucepan from the heat, take out the flowers (do not throw them away, below you will find out why), add sugar to taste (you can add) and enjoy tea, who likes hot and who does not - you can cool it and drink it with ice, perfectly quenches thirst. If desired, you can add a little citric acid.
