Ingredients
Pie
- 115 gram Butter
- 3/4 glasses Sugar
- 2 pieces Chiken egg
- 2/3 glasses Flour
- 1 teaspoon Dough baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
Syrup
- 3 piece Orange
- 1/2 pieces Lemon juice
- 1 glass Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
Instructions
- Remove the zest from one orange, cut the orange in half and squeeze the juice out of it. You should get 1/3 cup.
- Mix the orange and lemon juices, sugar and salt in a saucepan. Cut the remaining oranges into thin slices. Put the oranges in a saucepan, bring everything to a boil and cook for 5-7 minutes. Remove the oranges with a slotted spoon, continue to cook the syrup for another 10-15 minutes, until about half a cup remains.
- Turn the oven on at 190 degrees. Beat butter at room temperature with sugar into a light cream, beat the eggs one at a time, beating the mixture well each time. Add the zest.
- Sift flour, semolina, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Mix flour and butter-egg mixture. Grease the molds with a diameter of 24 cm with butter, pour the dough into them. On top we spread slightly overlapping cooked rings of oranges. Put the pie in the oven for 15 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 175 degrees and bake for another 30-40 minutes.
- Leave the cake in the mold and cool a little. Then prick with a toothpick over the entire surface and apply the syrup from the saucepan with a brush. Cool to room temperature.
- The pie is ready, you can serve it to the table.
