Pumpkin in Bacon with a Golden Crust Recipe
This beautiful and delicious dish will decorate your table on weekends and holidays and will delight your guests! It is simple in execution, looks spectacular, delicious and unusual! When warm, this is a great appetizer, when hot, you can serve it with a side dish and it will be a wonderful second course.

Ingredients
- 250 gram Pumpkin
- 100 gram bacon
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- Spices (black pepper, Basil and watercress for serving (optional) — to taste
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Pumpkin wash, clean. Cut into long bars about 10cm X 1cm X 1cm.
- To taste, salt and pepper the pumpkin and wrap it in thin long strips of bacon. Pour the oil into the pan and fry the pumpkin in bacon on all sides over low heat. When the pumpkin is soft, let it brown over medium heat.
- Let it cool down to a warm state, decorate with herbs and microgreens (I have watercress) and treat!
