Raw Pumpkin Salad with Apple Recipe
This is a very light and quick salad. Sometimes I do it in the morning, in a hurry. To the surprise of many, including me (before) - it is possible and even very pleasant to eat raw pumpkin. The main thing is the right combination. In my opinion, pumpkin goes very well with apple, it gives the salad a fresh and sweet-sour taste. This salad can be used for breakfast or as a dessert with various dressings - or without dressings at all (as I often do). Pumpkin and apple can be sliced (as I describe) or grated.

Ingredients
- 100 gram Nutmeg pumpkin
- 1/2 pieces Apple
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Honey
Instructions
- We take a pumpkin and cut off a suitable piece from it.
- A whole mug of pumpkin puree with nuts is a lot, so I take half
- Cut the pumpkin into pieces like straws about 1 cm thick.
- And cut into squares of 1 cm by 1 cm by 1-2 mm (to make it easier to chew)
- Peel the apple and cut it into small thin pieces (to match the pumpkin pieces).
- Mix the pumpkin with the apple. If desired, make a dressing by mixing lemon juice with honey, and pour over the salad. You can add cinnamon or other spices to taste.
