Neapolitans approach the invention of dishes and recipes with amazing imagination. So this recipe, on the one hand, is very simple, and on the other - incredibly interesting. I want to share with you the taste of grilled squid with a delicate filling and hot sauce!
Servings 3
Cook Time 40 minutes
Ingredients
- 3 pieces Squid
- 200 gram Crab sticks
- 200 gram Tomatoes (in own juice)
- 1 piece Onion
- 50 gram Soft cheese (brie)
- 30 ml Olive oil
- 10 gram Spices (Italian herbs, fish spices)
- 10 ml Sauce (oyster)
Instructions
- Our main character is a squid, or rather, his carcass. Fresh or thawed, cleaned of films and entrails. Marinate it in olive oil (20 ml) and spices.
- For the filling, we will need crab sticks, which we cut into large pieces.
- Cut the onion into cubes and simmer in a frying pan until the onion becomes transparent.
- Add the tomato pulp and oyster sauce and simmer for another minute.
- Chop 1/3 of the tomato and onion paste in a blender and make a puree - this will be our sauce.
- Combine the remaining pasta with crab sticks and cubes of brie cheese.
- Stuffed squid, the resulting filling. If you have thick carcasses, you can first lower the squid into boiling water for literally 30 seconds.
- Preheat the grill pan, sprinkle with a small amount of oil. Fry the squid on all sides to make a perfect strip.
- Put the squid on a plate. Arrange the sauce on plates and put the squid on it, sprinkle with fresh dill and serve immediately.
