Sand Cake with Cherries Recipe
My cake is different from the one published, and I liked it. Moreover, the pie is easy to prepare and very tasty! It will be a wonderful addition to your collection of cherry pies, especially because cherry pies, like apples, turn out a little.

Ingredients
- 200 gram Butter
- 1 piece Egg
- 0.5 glasses Sugar
- 2 glasses Flour
- 1 tablespoon Sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Dough baking powder
- 600 gram Cherry (fresh)
- 2 tablespoons Starch
- 2 tablespoons Sugar powder
Instructions
- Prepare the products. The oil should be at room temperature. Free the cherries from the seeds and throw them on a sieve to drain all the resulting juice as much as possible. This operation took the longest.
- In a deep bowl, sift the flour together with baking powder.
- Add sugar. To interfere.
- Add the egg.
- Sour cream and soft butter.
- Knead a soft, tender dough. Cut one third of the dough, wrap it in foil and send it to the freezer for at least 30 minutes, but it can be longer.
- Put the cherries in a bowl and sprinkle with starch, mix thoroughly.
- Cover the mold with a diameter of 24 cm with baking paper, grease the sides with oil. Lay out the remaining dough, forming sides 2-2. 5 cm high. Spread the cherries evenly on the dough. On the dough, under the cherry, you can pour a layer of almond flour, if any, the cake will have a more refined taste.
- Turn the oven on 180 * C. Remove the dough from the freezer and grate evenly on a coarse grater over the cherries. Bake the pie for 45-50 minutes. The top should be browned.
