Cod in Egg-Cheese Breading Recipe

A delicious dish with a spicy cheese crust of cod fillet for your family table.

  1. Fillet of cod, if it has been subjected to industrial glazing, defrost at room temperature, then lightly squeeze to remove excess liquid, cut into cubes. Add salt to the fillet, add ground white pepper to taste. Then add a mixture of spices for cooking fish and seafood. A mixture of spices can be made independently. It is specified in the ingredients.
  2. Cover the cod fillets evenly with the spicy mixture. Set aside the bowl of cod fillets.
  3. Dutch cheese (200 gr.) and mozzarella (to taste) grate on a medium grater. Mix the cheese mixture.
  4. In a bowl, add eggs (3 pcs.), salt and ground white pepper to taste. Beat the mixture with a fork.
  5. Put the cod fillet cubes in the prepared lieson.
  6. Next, sprinkle the cod fillet liberally with cheese shavings,
  7. lightly press the cheese breading.
  8. Add vegetable oil to the pan and heat the pan over medium heat. Place the cod fillets in a preheated frying pan.
  9. Fry the cod fillets on both sides.
  10. Place the fried cod fillet on a paper towel for extra oil.
  11. Fish can be served as an independent dish, or you can garnish with French fries, mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, etc. The finished dish is sprinkled with fresh parsley. Bon Appetit!
