Stuffed Pepper "Sweet" Recipe
Stuffed peppers I can eat every day... Why I know a lot of recipes for cooking stuffed peppers. But this is probably the most favorite. This pepper was always cooked by my grandmother. She cooked it exclusively in the oven and called it "sweet" for the delicate creamy and slightly sweet taste of the gravy. I cook this dish in the oven. Like my grandmother, of course not, but still sooo delicious!

Cook Time 80 minutes
Ingredients
- 9 pieces Bulgarian peppers
- 1 piece Carrot large
- 3 pieces Tomatoes
- 3 pieces Onions
- 200 gram Sour cream
- 500 gram Minced meat pork
- 300 gram Rice boiled until half cooked
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- I usually cook this pepper with minced pork - this is how it tastes best. I boil the rice in advance until it is half cooked. Peel the pepper from the seeds. I chop onions, grate carrots on a coarse grater. Grate the tomatoes as well.
- Fry half of the onion lightly in a small amount of sunflower oil. I add minced meat, salt and fry a little. Not for long - 5-7 minutes. Then mix the finished minced meat with rice and stuff the peppers. I put it in a heat-resistant dish.
- Now prepare the sauce. Fry the onion in vegetable oil (the second half). Add sugar. After a few minutes, we send carrots to the onion. Fry again for 3-4 minutes. Then add the grated tomatoes, sour cream and salt. Simmer for a few minutes. And pour the ready-made sauce, pepper.
- We send it to the oven for 40-50 minutes (at a temperature of 200C). Pepper is ready! enjoy your meal!
