Onion Caviar Recipe
Very tasty, quite budget-friendly, easy-to-prepare caviar. In winter, when there are not as many vegetables as in summer, this recipe will be very useful. Such caviar can be served as a snack for meat, pasta or potatoes. I like to eat this caviar just with bread. I hope you like this caviar option too.

Cook Time 50 minutes
Instructions
- Cut the onion into cubes, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Fry the onion in a small cauldron in preheated oil until transparent.
- Then add the carrots and fry, stirring, for a few more minutes.
- Add the peeled grated apple, bay leaf and salt and mix.
- Add water. Simmer, uncovered, over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, for about 40-50 minutes, until the liquid evaporates. Vegetables should become very soft and juicy. If the water boils off earlier, you can add a little. Cover the cauldron with a lid and leave to cool on the stove.
- Chop the finished caviar with a blender. Or you can not cut, the vegetables will be very well fried.
- Onion caviar is very tasty, simple and economical.
- And if you also eat such caviar with homemade bread, then it will be fine!
