Parfait with Blueberries and Caramelized Flakes Recipe
Parfait is a cold dessert related to high French cuisine. This is the American version of the parfait. Usually American parfait is a dessert made from layers of whipped cream, yogurt, ice cream, berries, fruits, nuts, cereals. Serve it in a tall glass or a cream bowl so that all the layers are visible. It is done very quickly. And the result: delicious, healthy and impressive.

Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons Oat flakes
- 100 gram Cheese
- 100 gram Yogurt sweet fruit, I have pear with vanilla
- 1/2 piece Pear
- 4 tablespoons Blueberries fresh or frozen
- 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Butter
Instructions
- First, prepare the caramelized oatmeal. I recommend cooking it also and storing it in a closed glass jar. They can be added to yogurt, ice cream, etc. Put the butter and brown sugar in a frying pan and melt.
- Add the flakes to the sugar and butter.
- Continuously stirring, caramelize the flakes. It takes about 2 minutes. Remove the flakes from the mold, knead, let cool.
- We take cottage cheese and any fruit yogurt, I have pear with vanilla. Beat with a mixer into a homogeneous mass.
- Take a pear, peel, cut into small cubes, add to yogurt with cottage cheese. Mix it.
- I'm making dessert. Take a tall glass or a cream bowl. Put a few spoonfuls of caramelized flakes on the bottom.
- Next, put half of the curd cream with a pear.
- Add blueberries, I have ice cream. Next, put the remaining curd cream, caramelized flakes and garnish with blueberries. Dessert is cooled and served to the table. Enjoy your meal!
