Rice with Vegetables Recipe
At the dacha, it's a pity to waste time cooking everyday food, but no one canceled the meal, and rice with vegetables is a great option for dinner, for example. Delicious, hearty, flavorful, almost dietary, and if you use bags of boiled rice, it turns out very quickly anyway. To taste it?

Ingredients
- 4 packs Rice
- 100 milliliters Vegetable oil
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 piece Carrot
- 1 piece Bulgarian pepper
- 1 piece Tomato
- 200 milliliters Tomato juice
- 200 milliliters Water
- Salt
- Black pepper
Instructions
- In a saucepan with a thick bottom, heat the vegetable oil. Add the diced onion.
- Add the carrots, grated on a coarse grater.
- Here we also send Bulgarian pepper, peeled from seeds and membranes, cut into cubes.
- And a tomato, also diced. Stir the vegetables. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Using rice in bags is a great solution for a quick dinner. Rice is steamed in a few minutes, many times faster than regular rice. Open the bags, pour the rice into a glass (or cup, the more convenient it is to measure the right amount).
- Add rice to the vegetables.
- Add twice as much liquid (in this case tomato juice plus water) as rice. That's why we measured the amount of rice.
- Add salt, ground pepper, stir, bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and cook for 15 minutes, as long as the rice is cooked in a bag. Stir several times to avoid burning. If there is not enough liquid, add a little boiling water.
- Ready.
