Cut the rutabaga and boiled beets into strips. Rutabaga can be replaced with radish, turnip, daikon.
Cut the red onion into half rings (marinate if desired). I didn't pickle the onion, because the onion variety is dessert, sweet. Chop the cloves in garlic. Chop the parsley. Drain the liquid from the corn. Combine all the ingredients for the salad and add salt.
