Appetizer of Herring "Baltic Sushi" Recipe
We tried this original snack in a Jurmala restaurant. The menu read: "Baltic sushi - lightly salted Baltic herring fillet on mini potatoes, with egg, fresh cucumber and whipped sour cream" The combination of herring with potatoes and egg - what could be tastier! My variation of this snack.

Ingredients
- 1 piece Herring 2 fillets of salted herring
- 3 pieces Potatoes mini potatoes
- 2 pieces Chicken eggs
- 1 piece Cucumber 1 small or slice of salad
- 100 gram Sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Radish the sauce is ready
- 1 piece Leek
- Greenery to taste
Instructions
- We collect all the necessary products. Boil the potatoes and eggs. Cool. We clean the herring on fillet, if you have a whole one.
- Cut potatoes, eggs, cucumber, onion into thin slices. Herring - in pieces. The thinner the circles, the smaller the tower will be - by one bite. Mix sour cream with horseradish. Or mustard. Or a drop of lemon juice. I have prepared different options - choose what you like.

- This is what the finished turrets look like. The order of assembly is to your taste. I liked this build order. Onions can be any - green, onion. Shallots are more tender, so I use it. Garnish with herbs - dill, parsley. The remaining sour cream can be served separately as a sauce.
- If you have boiled potatoes, eggs, ready-made herring fillet - this snack can be collected in 10 minutes. You can serve unexpected guests, prepare for a party. It is better to cook before serving, do not store for a long time. Adviser on cooking potatoes, sour cream spreads. Enjoy your meal!
