Balls with Chicken Filling Recipe
These are meat chicken balls with cheese and egg in puff pastry. Such a simple and delicious dish is suitable for both a festive table and for every day. I like these meatballs as a cold snack. Hot they are, of course, even more delicious.

Cook Time 70 minutes
Ingredients
- 500 gram Puff pastry
- 300 gram Minced chicken
- 1 piece Onion
- 3 pieces Chicken eggs 1-raw, 2-boiled
- 100 gram Hard cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
- Greens to taste
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- vegetabe oil to taste
Instructions
- Finely chop the onion.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan. Fry the onion until golden brown.
- Put the onion in the chicken mince.
- Also add 1 raw protein (we will need the yolk later), nutmeg, ground black pepper, salt.
- Mix everything well.
- Prepare the filling for the minced chicken. You need to finely chop 2 boiled eggs.
- Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
- Add the greens. I have dill. Mix well. The filling is ready.
- We will form chicken balls. I will cook 4 large ones. You can also make them small. From the minced meat, we form a tortilla. Spread the cheese and egg filling in the center.
- We form a ball by wrapping the edges of the tortilla.
- The finished yeast-free puff pastry must be pre-thawed. Roll out in one direction and cut into thin strips.
- Wrap the balls with strips of dough.
- Spread the balls on a baking sheet, greased with vegetable oil. With the remaining yolk, lubricate the balls. We send it to the preheated oven to 200 degrees for about 35-50 minutes.
- These meat balls in a crispy dough are perfect for both a family dinner and a festive table. Bon Appetit!
