Fried Tortillas with Onions and Cheese Recipe
Recently, I collected an excellent crop of leeks, it differs significantly from store-bought ones in juiciness and softness, so I now add it to many dishes, some of them were frozen in cut form for first courses. Today I suggest that you cook with me lush yeast cakes on kefir, with leeks and cheese!

Cook Time 55 minutes
Ingredients
Dough:
- 1 glass Kefir
- 50 ml Water
- 1 piece Chicken egg
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- 3,5 glasses Flour wheat / Flour
- 2 teaspoons Dry yeast
Filling:
- 400 gram Bryndza Cheese
- 200 gram Leek
- Vegetable oil for fry, to taste
Instructions
- I'm not a fan of making dough, so I always cook in x/p. To do this, load all the ingredients and prepare the dough in the "dough" mode, it should increase in volume by 2 times and be moderately dense. The amount of flour you need to look at in the process, you may need to add a little when kneading. The finished dough is divided into 8 equal parts to get 8 tortillas in the diameter of my pan in 20 cm.
- Mash or grate the cheese, combine with chopped onions and herbs.
- Take part of the dough and knead into a flat cake, put the filling in the middle. Wrapping the edges to the middle, seal them in the middle.
- Flatten the tortilla and roll it out thinner around the diameter of the pan. Use a fork to pierce in several places before frying.
- Fry in preheated oil, under the lid, turning until tender.
- I turn it over a couple of times, so it's evenly fried.
- Put the finished tortillas in a plate and cover with a lid, let stand for 10 minutes.
- Bon appetit.
