Herring on a Fur Coat Recipe
Herring snacks are probably the most popular and disappear from the table first. This dish resembles a combination of flavors of herring under a fur coat, but differs in serving portions. If you like buffet snacks, this is a worthy alternative to a traditional dish.

Cook Time 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 100 gram Herring (fillet)
- 1 piece Beetroot
- 1 piece Carrot
- 1 piece Potato
- 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 4 pieces Bread black
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
Instructions
- Boil the vegetables, cool them, peel them.
- Slice them one by one. I used a grater attachment in the combine.
- Each time, completely spread the sliced vegetable so that all the vegetables do not mix.
- Cut the bread into rectangles or squares, cut off the crusts.
- Fry until crisp in a frying pan with the addition of oil. Cool.
- Put a little grated potato and a drop of mayonnaise on each toast.
- Then carrots and a drop of mayonnaise, and put beetroot and a drop of mayonnaise on top.
- Cut the herring into strips. I use a ready-made herring fillet.
- Place the pieces of herring on top and serve to the table. Enjoy your meal!
