Red Currant Galette Recipe
Summer is berry time! Berries delight us with a variety of flavors. In summer, you can enjoy fresh berries and cook a variety of dishes. Galette is one of my favorite pies. The thinnest crispy dough, berry-fruit filling... Cookies with red currants really pleased us with their taste.

Ingredients
- 150 gram Flour wheat / Flour
- 50 gram Oat flakes
- 6 tablespoons Sugar
- 1 piece Egg yolk
- 230 gram Red currant
- 2 tablespoons Corn starch
- 120 gram Butter
- 3 tablespoons Water ice
Instructions
- Add the oat flakes with bran and sugar to the sifted flour. Mix it. Add the cooled butter, cut into cubes.
- Rub with your hands until crumbs form.
- Add water and knead the dough. The resulting dough is wrapped in plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- Sort the currants, wash them, dry them. Add sugar, starch. Mix it. Remove the dough from the refrigerator, roll out into a thin layer, put the rolled dough on a baking sheet greased with oil. Lay out the berry filling, leaving the edges free.
- Wrap the edges of the dough inside, forming folds.
- Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 35 minutes.
